These spec newsletter articles were written for a monthly customer e-newsletter by fictional kitchen appliance company, ’KitchenWiz’.
My copy both informs and entertains the reader. I promote products, highlight ethical company practices and establish KitchenWiz as a leading industry player.
KitchenWiz’s Eco-Fridge Wins Green Product Award 2020
We are incredibly proud to announce that our Eco-Coolance 5900 Fridge has received a Green Product Award in this year’s Home Appliance category.
The Green Product Awards UK is the nation’s largest institute of energy awards, championing exceptional commitment to green concepts in product design since 2005.
The winning Eco-Coolance 5900 was released earlier this year as part of our exclusive Eco range. Developed for minimal environmental impact and maximum functionality, the fridge is the first of its size to run on less than 100 kWh/year.
This prestigious award ‘honours products embodying exceptional design, innovation and sustainability’, judged on their efficiency, production, materials and packaging. With over 200 submissions from major UK brands, the award distinguishes KitchenWiz as a leading player in sustainable product development.

KitchenWiz Raises £22,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital at Glittering Fundraising Ball
On 12th April 2020, over 300 guests gathered at The Hondsdale Ballroom in London for a glamorous evening of exquisite food and lively entertainment at our Annual KitchenWiz Fundraising Ball and Charity Auction.
Co-hosted by much-loved Kwick Radio presenter Dominic Cooper and KitchenWiz’s chief executive, Kathryn Levy, the ball raised an incredible £22,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital, the UK’s largest charity funders of child health research and support.
The black-tie event kicked off with a elegant drinks reception, accompanied by smooth background instrumentals from jazz quartet, The Light Tones. Our guests were then served the delicious three-course dinner by Marken Food in the opulent surroundings of the beautiful, artdeco ballroom.
Next was the charity auction, which was once again a roaring success! The auction generated over £10,000 in sales of items donated by ourselves, our incredible staff and our generous partners.
